About screw type boring bar tool holder

1. Easy installation: The installation of screw type CNC turning tools is very simple, requiring only one fixed nut to complete the tool installation. Compared to hydraulic clamping devices, it is more convenient to use.

2. Cutting force balance: The design of screw type CNC turning tools considers the position and inclination angle of the blade, which helps to reduce the impact of cutting force on the workpiece. During the machining process, the blade will not undergo minor distortion and deformation, ensuring the machining accuracy.

3. High transmission accuracy: The screw type CNC turning tool adopts direct transmission, which has higher transmission accuracy and more stable accuracy compared to hydraulic or mechanical transmission turning tools.


Selection of Blade Form during Inner Hole Machining

The selection of blade shape during inner hole machining is basically the same as that for outer circle machining. However, during inner hole machining, the tool has a large overhang and cannot be re cut, so there is almost no need to consider the clamping strength of different shapes.

(1) As the radius of the tool tip arc increases, the back force component increases. The back force component causes the cutter bar to bend and deform, and vibration must be prevented. When the back cutting amount is small, it is necessary to pay attention to the deterioration of chip handling ability and changes in chip removal direction caused by the increase in the arc radius of the tool tip. When machining internal holes, chips must be discharged from the inside of the workpiece, and small changes in the direction of chip discharge may cause difficulties in chip discharge.

(2) When machining small diameter inner holes, in order to prevent interference between the blade and the inner wall surface, if a negative angle blade is used, a large negative front angle needs to be selected. This will increase the cutting force and easily cause high-frequency vibration, so regular angle blades with back angles are usually used in internal hole machining. If the machining diameter is large, it is more appropriate to use negative angle blades from an economic perspective.
